JJGJ Guest	Posted: Tue Oct 04, 2005 12:05 am    Post subject: 1998 Corvette Odometer Correction I bought a just about trashed 1998 Corvette from a junkyard to restore. As such, the instrument cluster was also trashed so I was given a 1999 Corvette cluster as a replacement. They are not exactly compatible for all functions so I obtained a 1998 Corvette cluster. I want to have the mileage corrected on the 1998. One question....The 1999 cluster has a little white connector on top in the back of the cluster marked J4 whereas the 1998 cluster does not. Is this corrector used for the odometer correction or is the regular connector that plugs into the car used to correct the mileage. I just want to make sure that I am not missing something on the 1998 cluster. JJGJ
