hello peter,
when we use one thing for the first time we wont everything on point.
but when we have experience we donīt need this kind of things.
i have the same problem like you do.
you could dessloder with only one point of hair.
but first try to dessolder old things and you see itīs gonna be easy to do.
put your station with 65% of hot and a little of air not mutch, and try that you see itīs easy.
try to see on youtube how to dessolder eeproms. you have a lot of videos.
good luck

Hi Almeida,

Thanks for your help. I am de/soldering for 20 years now but I do not have much experience with small SMD components. We do use nozzles at our company, because when you don't the chips housing can become too hot and after that they are unreliable, . I don't want to take this risk thats why I asked the question. I have often tried it without a Nozzle it worked fine but one time a chip was defect and M35080 chips are hard to find.

Thanks,

Peter

Sorry for my bad English
