how do correct the milage on siemens VDO nn vauxuall Astra 54. I opened the cluster but can't find any eeprom marked as 35080. The botom side doesn't have it. If its on the other side, how do you remove the needles.
Please do reply. The manual I have I does not give much details. |

| When I first did one of these I had no instructions either but anyway. First mark the zero positions of the needles with masking tape or some other sticky tape make sure to turn the needles gently back to the motor stop with your finger first. Twist the needles anticlockwise and pull up at the same time. protect the dial sheet with some paper before removing the needles. Remove the dial sheet. the black plastic piece surrounding the display MUST be removed. At each side of it there is a clip, put a fine screwdriver down the side and undo the clips. Remove this surround and lift the display from the top and let it hang on the plastic ribbon. It is attached to the ribbon connector so be very careful with it. If there is a strip of rubber below the display remove that also but some do not have the rubber. With the display hanging down on the ribbon go to the back of the board and press the white clip . The cicuit board will now separate. The 35080 is easily seen. When replacing the needles, twist anticlockwise and push down at the same time. If the needles pass the zero setting continue turning anticlockwise and try again. ALWAYS TWIST ANTICLOCKWISE. Arthur. |

then clip eeprom using 95 board . Read using astra 04 m35080
confirm data using button B , save if all ok. Go back to astra menu again
Now goto m30580 erase . goto back and read eeprom , it will say data not equal.. load your file and write all then write all again . then return to
astra menu and then goto adjust kms. put in your new mileage and all is good.
Thats if youe using didi box .
If your using DP3 , clip eeporm (no boards to piss about with )
Read chip , save , adjust kms.
