I just received my new 2007 Audi A4 TDI Quattro. Will it be possible to change the mileage on the odometer on this ?

Does anyone know where the mileage data is stored, if it's in the main controller for the car or in a chip in the speedometer. I wonder if it's possible to disconnect the odometer/speedometer.

Hi,

It guess the same as 2006 A4 ie chip, unless its totally different dash, which I doubt it is.

Do you know if there is any difference in the 08 A4 or if i am liable to hit any probs when trying to do this

You can do this using dp3 . new duckfarter cant do it .
I have a a4 2008 3.2 . it will go obd in blocks of 2600 like older type.

No chance using old didi box. Best to call an expert . cos if it goes
wrong ... Surprised

I know a cheap tool can do it by OBD2, it is A4 Decoder.
