And dont forget to tell the customer that Vauxhall/Opel dealers are actively reading the mileage in the ECU on all vehicles in for warranty work and sometimes service
The only safe [expensive] wayis todothe clusterand the ecu. |

ok when i take needles off what is the best way to put them back on so they show accurate speed?
and vectra b is 93c46 smd
vectra c is 93c66
so still use vectra vdo option?
and the mileage location .etc are same 4 both models?
just dont want to screw it up...lol |

make a nore of needle positons with ign and off use camera phone.
when you need to bung needles back on
connect cluster plug with no front glass yet. turn on ign
push needles back on , turn on ign .see what happends
connect if all ok .if not UNPLUG cluster. start again. take time make it look
good. most are easy, some jap cars can be a pain
but you will get it with experience.
good luck |

I dont know mate. (see df, i tell the truth)
I have never had any come back,. but some dashfixers have . i think if the car is going in for warrany work , then they may look. BUT THINK.
I do the mileage CORRECTION. I correct the mileage to what the customer says it should be, dont get involved in all the other bollox.
Keep it simple . if the customer says the dash should be 10k not 56k
then correct it to 10k,If he comes back later to moan that the dealer got the original maileage. THATS DOWN TO HIM .
Be lucky |

keep it simple, as the scottish. up de celtic
you cant go and buy your strides size 28" then take em back cos your size 38"
Clusters will understand that one.
