I had a circuit board failure in my '95 S6, this is the 5 cylinder 20V turbo engine.

I replaced it with a '97 A6 circuit board, and all is fine except the odometer reading. I can't figure what (or who) can correct this circuit board odometer.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

To add a bit more information. The instrument cluster circuit board that failed is the large one, into which are fastened the temp gauge, tachometer, speedometer, and fuel gauge. I swapped my S6 white faced instruments onto the A6 circuit board, and used a VAG-COM to reprogram it from 6 cyl to 5 cyl for my engine.

Now everything works except the odometer reads 270K miles instead of the 110K miles that are on the car.

I'm in the US, so it's not easy to visit one of the shops in the UK. I will be in Paris next month and could bring the circuit board if there was a shop that could make the correction.
