micmac Junior member Joined: 17 May 2005 Posts: 13	Posted: Tue Aug 21, 2007 9:48 am    Post subject: passat 08-2006 km pb VAG : 3C0 920 871 SW version : VD1-000 SW: X1614 HW:006 hi i have passat b7 08-2006 this car have 82976km i calibrated to 17500km but when i connect a dash in the car i c 82000km. this car also has a checksum in the end lines of the dump. unfortunatly we does not know the checksum calculation, putting 00 or FF's in this place make errors plz i need a help for calibrate this dash to 17500km

The only way to do it is diagnostically but the programmer has to find or bypass the passkey of the micronas processor or else it will not allow to alter the numbers.
