Eran74 New member Joined: 25 Sep 2008 Posts: 2	Posted: Thu Sep 25, 2008 8:40 pm    Post subject: E39 Upgrade to HIGH OBC I want to swap my instrument cluster with a low OBC to a used cluster with HIGH OBC. I therfore need to adjust two things: km/mileage and VIN in order to avoid tamper light. I know some instr. cluster have M35080 EEprom but I am not sure if the one I have got has it. On the cluster it says: BMW no 62 11 6 907 238 HW 16 SW 14.00 Date 14.03.03 I have not mounted it yet and I have no tool for reading out which chip is indside. I need help to find the right tool to program it. I don't want to buy the wrong stuf. I have taken the cluster apart to look for the EEprom but was nut able to find it. Is it mounted on same side as the needles? Can I correct the VIN with PAsoft 1.3.6? Can I mount a new M35080 and will it work without programming it? Where is M35080 placed on the PCB? Which programmer do I need to program the M35080?

He mean to say that you can connect SW13 cable from the back to access the eeprom that stored mileage and VIN numbers Low and high instrument has different connectors _________________
