kevin198 New member Joined: 29 Mar 2006 Posts: 1	Posted: Wed Mar 29, 2006 4:06 am    Post subject: recalibration near mission viejo california (sry i'll try to keep this as short as possible)i have a mitsubishi eclipse 2002 my speedometer cluster broke, i brought my car to the dealership, they ordered a new speedometer cluster and wanted $200 to install it. my autoshop teacher told me that was ridiculous we could easily do it in class which we did, with one problem, the odometer was set back to zero. i found out that included in that $200 was sending it to a company to get the correct miles input (so they weren't trying to cheat me after all) but now they won't do it cuz both odometers have miles so technically my mileage is unknown, the car has an extended warranty and i'm not sure if there just trying to get out of it, both odometers work, the original with the broken speedometer has 25,454 miles and the new one has 560 miles is it possible to get anyone to add that togethor so i can get the correct mileage
