2000 4X4Runner Guest	Posted: Fri Sep 16, 2005 9:23 am    Post subject: Resetting odometer on a 2000 4Runner How do I go about resetting my odometer on my 2000 Toyota Runner? Please give me step by step of what tools are needed and how to actually do this. I have never done this on digital system before. Does the Dashboard need to be removed or is it just the speedo cluster? How hard is this to do for the average person? Thanks in advance!

But most of the Toyota are similar to other types, so this model it is necessary to remove the dashboard and open the cluster to programming the eeprom. For the mileage correction you need a odometer programmer which included the software of this vehicle.
