electron Guest	Posted: Wed Feb 22, 2006 11:51 pm    Post subject: pa-soft v1.2.5 Hi I hope someone out there can help me. I`ve bought a pasoft scanner and downloaded the software from ebay. I`m not sure if this is legal but since it was downloaded from the same person that I bought the scanner off, I have to assume that this is so. First the use of these scanners is not that straightforward. They don`t seem to link to many new laptops and I`ve found to my cost that USB/serial port adaptors are notoriously finicky and it seems to be pot luck to find one that actually works! I`ve finally got the whole think working but can someone tell me how to actually access the error codes and find out what they are? Clicking on the dme unit for instance told me that there were 10 error but not what they were only how to clear them. Also if I do finally find out how to access the codes how do i find out what they mean. Thanks for any help anyone can give me

You are right ! there is a company selling that in china.....they are promising alot, but nothing works! I tries a used one from guy that was selling it .....crap! your kits which are offical should be the best! remmember me ......nick?? we talked this morning?!?!?! im going to purchase your kit today...... Also the only reference I can find for this version is literally in GreeK! No offence to all those nice people in Greece - but I never studied classics. How can i get a copy of this newer version?

Jeff, im a greek american....if you wish send me a pm and i can translate it for you now regarding the compatability, i think only bobr can answer that one.... RSM

Actually I found the English translation on BObr`s website - but thank you very much anyway. I have a very bad feeling that the Pasoft scanners that are being offered on Ebay are cheap imitations being produced in China - which is why they do not come with any software and you have to download the software from the buyer! I see from Bobrs website that the cost of the pasoft scanner is about $1500 ( this is about £900) whereas the brand new kit I bought of ebay was about $180. I`m still working on the problem..so thanks everyone Jeff Cole
