Once you know the maskset, you can figure out the exact reference of that Motorola 9S12. Next download the datasheet of that micro from Motorola semiconductor and locate the BKGD, Reset, Vss, and Vdd pins of the micro. From the 9S12 dongle, attach wire #1 to Bkgd, #2 to Reset, # to Vdd and the black one to Vss. I thought you were more knowledgeable than that... Serge
