If it can be done can it be done directly in the cluster or does it also need to be tampered with the ecm. If the cluster was changed would there still be in the ecm and which ever is higher would that be it and if so how can it be done Thanks

And nothing is recorded in the PCM (powertrain control module). Regarding you post under FORD category of this same forum, sometimes you have to be more patient because those who can answer your questions might be busy, or out of town, or have an internet connection problem, etc,etc. So there's no need to be upset; just give it a time.
