jake Guest	Posted: Mon Nov 14, 2005 4:36 am    Post subject: Bmw Scanner Interface PA-SOFT v1.2.5 doesn't work on E38 I used Bmw Scanner Interface PA-SOFT 1.2.5 on the E38 manufacturing date 11/97 Details: IKE BMWTNR: 8.376.705 hw:04 sw:05 The interface doesn't work with OBD2 connection. The error i get is "No Communication with Unit" "Try again" I first turned the keys to second position then connected the interface, after that connected the serial cable. But when i connect using BMW connection cable, it reads number of errors but doesn't show any error number or part number which is defective. The MileageCorrect option is also not enabled. when i try to Read EEPROM i get error message "Read EEPROM with errors". I think it is not reading the 0x100 till 0xIFO messages. When i use Service Reset option, it says Done but atually doesn't reset it when i look at the display inside the car. The LCM details are: 8.372.875 hw:10 sw:32 I will appreciate if someone can please let me what is wrong or if anybody faced similar problem
