I own a Golf GT TDI (diesel) and have several friends with VAG cars. I recently bought an OBD connector and have managed to check for errors on the laptop. Managed to get it to all work quite well, and my mates are amazed! ONe of my friends mentioned that's how to do mileage correction, so I thought I'd research and see if he's correct. Is it possible to correct the mileage also through the OBD connection and is there free/downloadable software available to do it? If anyone could let me know I would be most grateful. I have seen many discs on ebay and the likes, but I'm quite wary of these. Thank you!

I know that there is some free software out there but if it works i dont know... Do it safe do DIGA
