We make a corrction with DigaConsult, but we dont disconnect the baterry before removing BSI unit and after getting it back car dont start and ENGINE IMMOBILISER FAULT was show on the display. We correct few P406 before with connected battery without problem. Peugeot delaler said that it happend, becouse original Peugeot alarm was in car. So my answer - must we disconnect the battery on Peugeots or only in some cases?

However it happens whenever you DISCONNECT the battery and not the other way around. If I were you I would keep on leaving the battery connected for this type of model as this happens rarely anyway. Lock and unlock the doors and then turn the ignition ON and leave it that way for about 10-15 minutes; then try to start the car. Serge
