DashfixDotNet Moderator Joined: 20 Nov 2004 Posts: 302 Location: USA	Posted: Mon Apr 04, 2005 5:22 am    Post subject: : Mileage programing Mercedes E-Class 2005 Hello, The mileage in this car is stored in 3 units: 1)the instrument cluster, 2)the ignition key module, 3) the central gateway module. The instrument cluster is easy to program; and the central gateway stores the old value as a fault code and can be erased with the original Mercedes scan tool. The hard part is the key module equipped with a locked micro. In other words the microcontroller can not be programmed in-circuit. This requires a lot of experience and knowledge. If you're not in the business you cannot do it by yourself. Tell us where you're located and we'll try to find somebody in your area. Serge info@dashfix.net
