Im just about ready to order Diga-Consult from Distools. Im from Canada and wanted to be sure it was safe to send them money, and have shipped to Canada. Anyone out there to make me feel my money is dafe, would be greatly aprreicated. Been scammed a few times sending out big amounts of money, then getting nothing.

For all who still have problems with Marc@Distools {www.distools.com sales@distools.com}, contact me by email to provide you with the lawyer's info that is handling this case now in the United States, and if you only want to help attach any of the emails regarding your current/past complains with him.
Don't trust this man, and ignore what you see on his contact info "DIS, Inc. is a Maine registered company. You can check it out yourself at"
This is INTERNET FRAUD
Dashfix.net, it is better that you contact him to remove your info from his service centers list!!!
Or join this private message reply at least to state that you have been no longer provider to any of the tech support anymore to Distools's customers especially after your post dated {Thu Feb 17, 2005 with subject DigiDIS from DISTools.com also a DIGA-Consult?}!!!

All was well up to 2006 when I sent him $2500 for an update and got a small plastic box full of used pinball parts. Now he doesnt return my calls/email.

Again to all who reads this, please advise any one who is willing to buy from Marc at Distools.
Don't send him money, he never gives you what you paid for, simply read the past complains from different people.
And for the current people who had already sent him money and got nothing or didn't receive what they paid for.
Please reply with private message tab "pm" with your name, country/state, email, and contact phone numbers.
And mention the date you have sent the money to him, and if you have received anything / or got nothing / or didn't get what you paid for.
I will reply back with the steps to do and the person to contact who have same problem and in contact with a lawyer, and the lawyer contact info.
And prepare a copy of the statement of the money transfer to him and a copy of the emails to/from.
And don't worry you will have your rights back in the US.
He is just a few steps from JAIL after paying for what he took.

I got my DigiDIS just two weeks ago and had no problems at all.
Looks great and works just as Mark said.
I like the manuals and that you can look up them up online.
While there could be more information and some vehicles are not covered.
What ever problem you have with him, why do you post a picture of him? How do you know it is him? Sounds to me more like a personal thing?!

Hello,
I think as a moderator on this forum I have my word to say here. To Digital Automotive, no matter the degree of your anger with Marc (Distools), and I totally agree with LeoP, you should've never posted his picture on this forum and especially put a link to the website you got it from. Recently we only see your posts about Marc and about him being a "fraudulent" person or about him going to "jail". You are arousing the whole forum with those posts. The purpose of this forum is to talk about odo calibration and speedo repair. I think one or two posts are enough. You are asking people to provide their name and number but YOU don't want to give yours?! I have no doubt that you have legitimate reasons to be upset and frustrated but going on campaign regarding this matter is little bit too much and again in an inapropriate forum.
Also I can tell you one thing: there are many customers that have never had any problem with Marc (me personally) and therefore satisfied. So this is where I join again LeoP when he says that "it's a personal problem"; I would rather say that this is about a few isolated cases.
Another point since you did not reply to my last pm when I was offering my help: "Don't you ever cite names (like mine) or kind of threaten people (like me just because I was tech support) again!" Is that clear enough?! And remember this: this is America; before you accuse somebody you gotta have proofs. If you have it, good for you, then hand it over to the proper authorities and let them do their job. But right now, the guy on this picture (if it's Marc as you pretend) can sue you for making allegations about him and relating this picture to it.
Please no more of these type of comments or anything regarding this subject on this forum.

Trust me all,
Leop, welcome to this forum as a new member who joined 07 Nov 2006 with your single post, I have nothing to do with him, and congratulation if you received your order from him, I'm really happy that you made it, if this is true.
I'm trying to help you all, and I don't have to post what customer's replied to me with to proof it.
Go ahead ask the official resellers for this unit all over the world to know if I'm right or wrong, this will proof it.
I'm not arousing the whole forum with my posts, but the posts which have Distools/Marc mentioned on it, check it Serge.
And sorry if I missed a reply from you, I had some work to do, I respect the privacy also of what you have recently replied to me with, so there is no need that you post this.
You are true this is America, and the reason for publishing the photo if you have personal contact with him, I'm a US Citizen and I know that US customers here have rights.
I respect this forum, and as you see all, there are no new posts from me unless there is a new customer asking about buying from Distools, and now I use personal reply to them.
I only give numbers of customers who still have troubles with him to each other through me, after I make sure that they have proof for this (a copy of money order transfer/check with a recent email to/from).
This is not the reward back for alerting new customers, I will not ask whom I replied to them to post how I helped them.

@Digital Automotive:
I talked to Mark just this week and he is still running his business and not in jail.
On the other side, you don’t even answer your e-mail and you don’t want to tell anyone who you are! So what's up??

@DashfixDotNet:
I would at least take the picture down. It is against copyright to repost pictures form other sites without permission!

Leop, DashfixDonNet, I will ask the administrative of this forum to remove the picture.
I don't care he went to jail or not, just advising. Heard he's on a new start now, I hope so. No more posts, unless…

Hello, I am a customer of Marc / Distools and Serge is my all-time best "teacher" to me. I live in Indonesia and had bought 2 units of Digi Dis from him without any problems. This happened in 2004-2005.
Now I am having a problem. My friend in Singapore, Mr. S. Yong, ordered one complete unit from him on July 04, 2006 and had paid a full amount for it. But until now, he receives nothing from Marc (He promised to give tracking number once shipping the Digi Dis, but it never happened). He did not answer calls, return the call left on his answering machine, and reply emails.

As a person who recommended to buy the unit from Marc, I am very ashamed with my friend. Without any intention to be on either side, please kindly help me and my friend. Best regards to you Serge

The only person who'd care about a picture is the person who's IN the picture, LeoP??

Seems like this guy Marc does and is scamming people. Its only right we help each other out and help others who haven't been scammed yet.

BTW, that picture is not a hot-link- its from this site- not that it matters anyway because the internet is public domain- Marc put it on the internet, NOT DA. And its only copyright infringement IF its copyrighted material which clearly it is NOT.

So Marc, or LeoP, or whatever your name is, we are all gonna try to see that you dont take anyone elses money. And when you make concessions to your scamees, DA will likely take down the picture and maybe even delete this thread, but only if done in a timely fashion. Your choice

UPDATE:

DISTOOLS has just delivered what I ordered 9 months ago! and it actually works!

So tools work, terrible customer service, and terrible support. Your choice

I also bought a unit from Marc, the money was transferred to him on May 2006 and received a unit on June 2006 without a "PIN" which makes the unit not working till today and also with software packages not as agreed upon.
He never reply to emails.
I wish that I have read these topics before I go to him.
