Odometer Correction with the Diagprog 3 programmer

dear friend/s
I got the vag commander 1.4 from ebay, and I cant connect to my car. It says Dog Initiation Failed. Trying to find the problem but no results.Is there anybody that can help me solve the problem.BTW car Im trying in is Skoda Fabia 06

thanks for the fast reply
driver is ok, the light on the is always on,not blinking when connected but I guess it will not work on my fabia, will try it in different car
