Why all fuss about the keyreader.?

Why do all get so exited when it come to the "bmw key reader".?
What use do you have for it if it can read keys or not.?
The most important is that it works so you can edit the EWS.
You dont have to Erase or edit the key or put them to 0.
All will be done once you have changed the EWS.
Just do the Cluster,EWS turn ignition on and do the LCM diagnostic and then do a Km check and it is finished.
