?????????????????????????
Do you have diga or clon ?
Do you have any manual ?
How old is your manual ?
Do you have time to waste?
if you choose "vw - autodedect" - first your diga shows you info about the instrument.
in your case - the diga inform you about a mm/bosch rb8 instrument.
so you can cancel all (disconnect diga)
connect again,
choose:
vw - golf - golf4 - 2001/2002 - RB8 fast
your diga shows you the current mileage
(if not - choose .......Diag MM2)
enter new mileage - ok |

I thought that i bought original but i found out it was clone, nothing to do, i trying to save some money to buy dp3 or enigma.
Yes i have manual! What year they are from i dont know!
I found out what the CODE was, i choose autodetect, and asked me for code becouse is motometer and wants the code for search program for access code, after it finds code the new value will be programmed, or i can do rb8 fast so i maybe can skip that code?
Thank you very much for help!

Peda,
Zak is right, just choose autodetect, your cluster needs a second pass, it takes some time to find the code (search on screen), it could be in the beginning of the eprom or at the end, if your not lucky it takes 45 minutes but it will happen. Write the pincode and you never have to wait again next time.
Good luck,

Hi,
No, the code you will have is only for this car.
By first your diga will ask you a code. You can write 8000 (that mean 49% of eprom), like this, diga will looking for the acces code only in second part of the eprom.
In 80% of the case, the acces code is stored in the end of the eprom and like this it save your time....
If you have writed 8000 and if diga doesn't find acces code, write 0000 instead of 8000 and diga will looking for in all the eprom but it could take 1 hour.
Hope it's clear because my English is bad. |
