I have a Toyota Rav 4 2007, and unfortunatelly mi kids broke the digital odometer with a pair of skis.

My question is where in the memory chip located since if I replace the instrument cluster, it will reset to 0 ? or it will read the previous milleage that was on the broked instrument.
I dont want to have the car with less milles so how can I correct odometer to original milles if memory is on new instrument?

The mileage is only stored it the cluster unit.

You will need the new cluster to be matched to your old mileage..
