| I'm sure you mean the W221. but of course it's on there. I have heard on the grapevine unofficially and not to be disclosed yet that when the W221 is called up on the menu, a can blocker is ejected automatically from the side of the tool complete with full instructions on how to fit it and also pacify any irate customer who has had his warranty voided. I think this is why the tool is so large as it has to accomodate quite a few can blockers. White Rabbit. |

Yes, I mean W221 with Milano, Palermo , Havanna & Amazona MCU
So thats mean that the tools need to be as big as a Dump Truck
Because so many S class after a years that can not be adjusted
and need a more can blocker to load on it
by the way, if they possible to include it and cracked the mileage
location/algo of EZS, this tools will Rock the world of odometer correction

Hi
Sorry to be a pain, but I work as a valeter for a Merc dealership.
There was a big fuss about late cars with fitted with a blocking device that didnt work.
The customers had the warranties cancelled.
What exactly are they?
Who makes these?
As Merc are considering a follow up with proceedings etc.[I saw a letter on the desk] |

Hi Captain
The problem with can-blockers are how some or most use them.
When fitted they will stop a mileage signal being sent from the Cluster to the EZS, but only if the Cluster is a lower value than the EZS. So the proper way to use them would be to reduce the mileage in the cluster then fit the blocker. The customer can then use the vehicle and return to have it adjusted later or the blocker removed.
The problem is that some people just fit the blocker, reduce the mileage and dont inform the customer that it must stay below the original value.
The EZS will always retain the highest value that was put to it, therefore cannot be taken lower than that value.
Iv sent 5 mercs ( 2 x s class and 3 x MLs ) to Dashfixer to be done properly. They actually fit a new EZS and correct the mileage in the Cluster and ZGW.
Hope this explains how it works, or doesnt work, depending on the fitter.
Regards

?for gawd sake how have you sent five to arsefixer , when you work there, how can you call bannybasher a liar , when you are the biggest, you must have a FU*king long nose mate.
If you dont like to say you work at arsefixer hq, then go to work on your own. with your contacts its easy. With your fingerprint you can get access to jims little black book.
If you have access to arse fixer e mails then you must be in the workshop. |

What makes you think I have access to Jim Ashkirks e-mails ??? I think you are reading into something to suit your feeble imagination.
BannyBasher has openly admitted to being a liar.
Im not even in Scotland.
Its not my nose thats long
I know the Drew that works for Dashfixer in Glasgow and I cant honestly see him being too bothered to write on this forum as he and the others tend to be on the phone or doing cars all day.
I spoke to Jim on the phone the same day that John was mailing him for help. The same John that says the help line was shit. The same John that needed help to do a Mondeo. The same John that has now burt his boats and will be persued for loss of earnings by Jim, same as the others that have already been to court both in UK and other parts of europe.
Keep Dreaming

Your welcome Captain
When the Can Blocker is fitted to a car the Star Diag sometimes has problems communicating with the Cluster so that could raise suspision.
The real problem is when fitters dont tell their customers what the can blocker does. If the car goes in with a low value with a can blocker fited the dealer will still see the old value (higher) in the EGS ( key module).
If its a warrenty claim then its kinda like fraud. So the dealers will be a little upset, lol.
As far as the law goes, there is nothing that can be done about it. All the dealers can do is void the warranty and maybe "blacklist" the customer.
Hope this helps and please post anything else you hear/see "lying around",lol. This will help us all.
Regards

| Dashfixer Drew, If you do not work for Dashfixer, why are you constantly acting as their spokesperson? There are some very intelligent, well educated people in this thread, far more intelligent than you could ever hope to be. Note I do not use the word experienced as this has nothing to do with who can do this car or that car. The people of whom I am intimating are all able to spell and construct a well worded posting. They do not abuse the forum with foul language but have been systematically tying you in knots through your lack of intelligence. Surely you will have noticed the same questions being asked time and time again Have you noticed also noticed the answers you have given differ. PMC seems to have realised what he was up against and abandoned ship. These people are fully capable of destroying your credibility with words alone and it would seem, owing to your evasive and untruthful attitude are prepared to continue to do so. To diversify, you write about cloning or copying of Dashfixer/Diga's work. Do you realise that to read, save and re-use information from a memory device breaches thecopyright held by manufactures. You have done it, I have done it, everyone reprogramming dashboards, EZS, cas etc. car radios has done it but you are prepared to condone it and continue to do it. I am sure you will somewhere have copy cd's, copy dvd's, copy software, fake clothing, fake anything. This is cloning. I suggest you rethink your standing on cloning. What would you think if VDO or Visteon came after you for cloning their dashboard programs. What we do is a very grey area legally. In a court of law the disclaimers I see written are not worded sufficiently to be worth the paper they are written on and would be quickly discredited on examination. Then there is the question of conspiring to defraud, far worse than lowering mileages. All this said, you should understand this buisness relies heavily on trust. At this time there are many people finding it difficult to rely on Dashfixer following a long period of evasion and misdirection. To continue in this manner will only lead to many more people reading these threads, which in general are not really favourable to prospective Dashfixer customers to be reading. White Rabbit. |

You may be fluent and elequent in your writing which to the unknowing will look very clever and always correct but to me it does not impress.
I am not on here to be the cleverest or the "Oracle", I only offer my opinion and what facts I know.
As for my bussinness I do not operate in a "grey area", what I do is totaly legal, if you choose to be in the "grey area" thats up to you.
If what your refering to as being an unanswered question is your 9S12x issue then I suggest you look at the answer I gave to one of your many posts about it.
I do not act as dashfixers spokesperson, as I have also already explaind, I support them because they have supported me over the last few years.
Im sorry you feel that writing a well constructed post somehow elevates people to be the most intelligent . I was brought up in a very rough part of an inner city and came across your type of social predugices all the time. In fact I still sometimes do. Like now for instance.
I suppose in your narrow mind Im less intelligent than you, I could say the very same thing about you but I wont. The reason being is...I dont know..........and neither do you.
Do not try to preach to me, do not try to attack me or I will attack you back. This is my only warning.
Some of my Inner City upbringing still lives inside.
I do not mean this as an attack at you, Im sure even you can understand that if you read this post properly before devising your next "well worded posting"
Sweet Dreams

| Dashfixer Drew, At no point in my last posting do I refer to MYSELF as being intelligent, only others. I refer to QUESTIONS not one question. Where a person is brought up has no bearing on there level of intelligence and I do not believe I display social prejudice in any of my posts. I do not compare your level of intelligence with mine. I do not preach to you I only aim to place facts before you and I do not feel you attack me. What I do feel is that your reply is to what you think you have read and not what is actually written. I always read your postings very carefully to consider how I should reply. I do not know what your buisness is, what I do know from your postings is that you have an ability in the field of dashboard correction as I do but whether you put this ability to use in your buisness I do not know. By this same token your knowledge of what I do must be about the same. If you act totaly within the law fine but just to pass on information that can be used for illegal purposes falls outside the law. I write the way I do because I enjoy the written word and for no other reason. One thing I find from your postings. I think I have something that has to date eluded you. I have made enough money in my life to satisfy mine and my family's needs. I of course do not know what are other proples needs and ambitions I now spend more time enjoying life and even more time watching one of my daughters training and competing at a very high level in her her chosen sport. It is the same daughter who chose my forum name. I personally find it much better for me than working all hours under the sun in search of that last £100 pound note ( Scottish that is), We don't have those where I come from.I have a thirst for knowledge and it is a bad day for me if I haven't learned something new. A bad day for me is not the day I don't make a penny. Well. now you know a little about me. White Rabbit |

Hi, thanks for the explanation.
Regarding the can blocking device.I am getting a new car from work.
So if I fitted one at say 3,000 miles, the dash still clocks up but the egs key wont?
I havent got any correction equipment to do the dash yet.
But in say 6 months when I have, I could reset the dash back to 3,000 miles and it would be ok?
whats the cost roughly, need to make sure its a viable proposition.
Thanks |

The answer is no. If you put the mileage down from 3000 to 1000 then fit a blocker you mus keep the mileage below the 3000. If the cluster goes above the 3000 the EZS will update with the new value.
