Either small silver box with 2 or 3 connections [ if 3 then bridge outer 2]

Could be black rectangular box, 2 or 3 connections. [bridge outer 2]

Could be blue round flat disc.

Could be surface mounted or through the board, with connections on other side of board.

Will have frequency marked on it

Why not ask this question to hardware supplier?

without wanting to offend you clusterlaststand this post you have sent is more important than all others you send to answer to this question.

I learn more in reading this.

Thank you so much.

I think which is important to know is that normally a frequency must be marked on it.

Thank you

I have another newbee question but with all this I dare not sending a new post.

What is the difference between, for example, lift red and only red?

Thank you all

Am I a parrot...?
And what are you?

Always in forums... all forums... we can find a "bannybasher"... always... everybody can trust and look into other forums.

There is always someone answering to posts... but not for give an answer.. just to say something, maybe nobody talk with this person... maybe this person don't have something to do in his journey... I don't know.

Your answer bannybasher is very very important and useful.

"CONTACT WHO EVER YOU GOT YOUR BOX FROM AND ASK THEM FOR INSTRUCTIONS."
==> yes this is a solution, if my seller answer to me, if not there is the forum, it is for this that it was created.
You never ask someone for help? If yes, why don't you ask your seller...?
If no, as you aren't be here to answer...what are you doing here...?

I think this is not your place...and I saw that I am not the only one who said this...

Sometimes all people have to clean his "crockery" before cleaning people's crockery!

Please explain lift red and only red?

On what car or cluster is this'?

I will do my best to help you, but might have to ask Bannybasher for the answers.

[Bannybasher is very old, Surprised but very clever at this job, you must treat him with lots of respect. He can be very grumpy at times, but has vast knowledge of car mileage correction, going back over many years. We all learn lots from him.]

Sure many peoples learn lots from him, and I am certainly the first!
I respect all people who give respect too.
I don't respect someone because he know something or because he did something or anything else, but just because respect is normal.
When I don't know someone, I respect him.... until he misses respect for me.

"Are you a parrot?"
==> Is this a form of respect for me?
Yes the last post I have sent was sent 3 times... it is not my fault! I validate only one time.
You see in others message that I apologize many times because I sent the same messages.
Did you really think that I sent the last 3 same posts voluntarily?
Of course no.

Frankly, did you really think that what he answer to me is very required?
Personaly I think no.

I am talking about Persons in general, not about this job, I agree when you say I must treat him with lots of respect (like the others...), but he must do the same, because it is an universal rule!

In brief, clusterslaststand when I say lift red I don't talk about one dashboard specifically.
Just see the picture attached which talk about data green, lift + blue, and just lift.
So when I see this I asking myself what is the difference between all these cables. That was my question.
Of course I have the Peugeot406 plug, with a Tacho.

Thank you everybody

Hello

Lift is to lifted up the pin or disconnect it from the PCB(printed circuit board) Very Happy
Red wire is always Positive line in diga cables(12volts) and some electronics equipment

if the instruction says, lift + blue, you must lift the pin of MCU and connect it to blue wire

In the picture, they have used colour red to mark the position of wires, this is not to be confused with red wire!

They have used colour green to indicate linkwire.
Lift only the pins that say lift pin.
