| Does the miles have to be changed anywhere else other than the eprom? I heard it was stored elsewhere? If so what method is used to correct it? |

Yes, via eeprom, in the ECM.

| Hi! thank for the reply. So I have to do it on the eprom on the cluster and the eprom on the ECM? When you say ECM is that ECU? |

| Do I have to short the crystal on the cluster before plugging to the eeprome? If so can someone give me help on how to distinguish it as I cant see it anywhere? |

| Found the crystal, it was on the opposite side of the mother board to the EEPROM!! Anyone know what pin on the 2002 porsche eeprom is NO1? |

Hi,
Pin 1 is bottom, left hand corner, read the writing, then you know which way up you are.
ECM = Electronic Control Module
