Hello,
I bought a replacement Explorer Sport Trac Speedometer cluster from an EBAY vendor to replace my 02 Ranger speedo. It has a lot higher mileage than my current odometer reading. I opened up the Sport Trac cluster part to extract the speedo part out. I noticed that it had a Stepper Motor with 6 wires. Can you help me with the wiring interpretation? Can I just combine some of these wires and connect to the 9v DC battery and correct the odometer reading to match my current mileage? |
