My old cluster (original) have part number 62.11-6 906 120 and have the 93S66-sw13 eeprom. This cluster have 166.000 km and I must change it because is damaged.

I find on ebay an used cluster 100% compatible with my car that have part number 62.11-6 914 879 with M35080-1 eeprom. But this cluster have 230.000 km.

I have the PASoft v1.3.6 tool and I want to understand if I can change the km in this cluster.
I know that with PASoft can code this cluster in my car, but I don't know the procedure to change the Km.

Please can you help me ??

Did you figure this out?
I'm in the same situation.
pasoft 1.3.6 didn't work so well with m35080 when I tried.
I didn't have any problem with the old cluster.

Hello,
No tool on the market including PaSoft will not allow the KM programming (diagnostically) of a dashboard equipped with M35080 eeproms. Your dashboard has to be programmed manually and the VIN too has to be programmed manually. In other words Pasoft as well as any other softwares will not help you here.

I'm not sure if the OP is still around but I sure am.
I used pasoft 1.3.6 to somehow correct the vin and the manipulation dot went off but still no luck with the odometer with same error dash chip m35080.
Can I correct the odometer with m35080 programming kit like ebay 280254401941?
I also have coding problems like brake warning light staying on, temp gauge always high and transmission module error. What can I use to correct this?
I really appreciate your help.

The manipulation dot can also go off if you program the LCM (light control module) with the same VIN as the one in the dash. Again I've been doing this for long enough to tell you that you are wasting your time trying to correct the mileage contained in a M35080 diagnostically. The manufacturer (ST or SGS-Thompson) built that eeprom for that purpose. The mileage address location in that chip is an incremental register which in other words means that the value can increase but not decrease. For now the only way is to take the cluster apart, hook up a M35080 eraser/programmer (such as the one on ebay) to the chip. First the eeprom will be brought back to delivery state (erased) and reprogrammed with the value that you need. Pasoft is a very good tool but the coding procedure is not flawless. The coding is based on GN/SA number and first you have to transfer it from your faulty cluster to the EWS and once the new cluster installed, transfer it back from the EWS; at that point the cluster must already have the correct VIN. Good luck because it never worked for me. I ended up doing it with the original BMW equipment called GT1.

Thanks for your input.
I no longer have the original cluster to the 97 750iL and I only have the one out of 01 740iL.
The cluster is showing 75k miles and it has to be 128k for the 97 750iL.
I was thinking about getting a m35080 programmer, Not in a great hurry to take care of this but I like to get it done at some point, some how.
I really appreciate your input as I don't deal with stuffs like this very often.

I actually have a 99 750iL also that might be closer to 97 750iL than 01 740iL.
Is it possible to put the cluster from 99 in 97 to transfer to the EWS then transfer it into 01 cluster with corrected VIN?

Thanks in advance,

Tom

You can always replace an instrument cluster with the same or newer version but not with an older version.
