Hi everyone. My customer changed cluster in his 2000 E39. Manipulation dot is on now. I know that mileage is reprogrammed corectly in all components, but VIN number is different. Is there any way to fix this problem???
Maybe overwrite VIN or somehow disable this dot.

If the new cluster has a M35080 it's a piece of cake. You can also get rid of the dot if you program the LCM with same VIN as the one that's in the cluster. But the proper way would be to program the cluster of course. The fastest and easiest way is to use PaSoft 1.36 though OBDII...takes a few seconds.
