palmetto0010 Guest	Posted: Tue Nov 28, 2006 9:57 pm    Post subject: 2000 323i and 2001 325i Does a 2000 323i bought in Oct 1999 has a M35080 chip? If it doesn't , can the mileage be corrected trough the diagnostic plug with a software like Pa Soft 1.36? Can I use a M35080 programmer for the IKE of a 2001 325i and reset the LCM with Pa Soft 1.36? Thank You

You can work on it through the modic connector (round). Your M35080 programmer is no use in this case. Serge

Can be worked with the round connector? or this one has a M35080 eeprom and needs to be disconected and use the programmer? 3) If is the case, whenever I work with an M35080 programmer do I have to go ahead and use a scanner like Pa -Soft 1.36 to change the mileage in the light module and the imoblizer, too? Thanks again

And yes have to program the LCM through diagnostic and the EWS manually. Even though the PaSoft is an excellent software and will take care of your BMW with no problem, we are in this forum pro-Digaconsult. Serge
