It has a NEC processor with the name HAVANNA on it. The only solution for now seems to be the replcement of the EZS with a new one. Serge

The only way for now is to adjust the dash (Dont plug it in the car untill the new ECZ is changed and connected!), and order a new ECZ from MB on your cars VIN. The new ECZ has to be new coded to the car in MB, Unless you don´t have the possibiity to get the green code key from your dealer, and have a star diagnostic tool to code it to the car! Let's consider I'm a body shop and I just bought an accidented W221. I need many parts including the EIS to fix it and get it running...Do you still think they can ask me why I need this part? I don't think so. And don't forget the dealer is just another company that wants to make money; so you can practically buy anything no question ask.

These units will still hold the old value but the dash can be set to any required value. Drew
